Εδώ το πρόβλημα με τη συγκεκριμένη είδηση βρίσκεται μονο στον τρόπο παρουσίασης και όχι στις πληροφορίες που περιέχει. Οι πληροφορίες βασίζονται σε πληροφορίες από την ΕΛ.ΑΣ, που δόθηκαν (μολονότι δεν αναφέρεται) με τη σύλληψη του συγκεκριμένου ατόμου. Καθώς όμως απουσιάζει η ξεκάθαρη αναφορά σε είσημη πηγή, είναι δύσκολο να ελεγχεί. Σε επόμενες ειδήσεις για το θύμα, βρίσκουμε σημεία από την ακταγγελία της γυναίκας και την απολογία του μασέρ. Στο συγκεκριμένο άρθρο ωστόσο, η είδηση χρωματίζεται με επίθετα (ηδονοθήρας) και εκφράσεις (τον τρόμο έζησε...) ώστε να φορτιστεί ακόμα περισσότερο συναισθηματικά μία είδηση που αφορά ήδη μία απεχθή, εγκληματική πράξη. Γεγονος που έχει να κάνει όχι με τα στοιχεία, αλλά με την παρουσίαση της είδησης και συχνά είναι ένα πρόβλημα που συναντάται κυρίως στο αστυνομικό ρεπορτάζ.
