Partly true - The journalist who made the decision: gr_03
FilaryBiznesu.pl published an article about Donald Tusk's questionable expertise, which he referred to in the CPK case. The article quotes the words of the head of government and comments of people dealing with CPK who oppose his opinion. The content was analyzed according to the following criteria:- faithfulness to facts - the article is faithful to the facts because it quotes specific statements of people involved in the project, also citing sources. Cites current events and confirms the theses put forward by other, but not mentioned, reliable sources.
- timeliness (up-to-date) - the article is up-to-date, it presents current information from the world of politics and business, but it is not a research article that will remain valuable in the long term,
- reliability - the article cannot be called fully reliable, because although it presents both sides of the dispute and even cites sources, it does not quote the statements of experts, but only of people involved in popularizing the project,
- clarity and precision of expression/ speech -the text, despite its simplicity, is not entirely clear. it contains a lot of quotes and quoted words, but it does not answer the question in the headline. It must be read again to understand the full meaning,
- large-scale events - the events described are important mainly on the scale of Poland, but also for Europe. The Central Airport planned in Poland would be an important economic point on the map of the continent. Due to changes in the government, the chance of building such a point in Poland is no longer certain,
- proximity to the scene - these events take place mainly on the domestic arena of Poland, because they concern plans to build the largest airport in Poland and this part of Europe. However, the fate of the inhabitants of the towns through which the railway lines were to pass to facilitate access to the airport is also at stake,
- significance - the events described in the articles are very important because Poland's economic future is based on them. The head of government refers to expert opinions, the existence of which is doubtful, while the supporters of the project strongly defend it, citing expert opinions carried out over a long period of time. The CPK would become a transport hub and connect air routes with railway and road routes, which is a great opportunity for the development of the country,
- continuity - the text is a jumble of various statements, which slightly disturbs continuity when reading. This is not a story described from A to Z, but for people familiar with the subject this is not an obstacle to understanding the whole thing. the quoted fragment has its own order,
- personalization - the story is highly personalized, focusing on Prime Minister Donald Tusk and his reference to expertise that is unfavorable for CPK's investment,
- tragedism - there is no tragedy in the article. The test will present different perspectives on the described case, but there are no tragic scenes in it. Ultimately, the Prime Minister is a skeptic of the situation, but not an opponent who has already suspended work. The description concerns data cited by politicians or intentions rather than actual actions,
- drama and action - the counter-statements on website X introduce a bit of drama and action into the article, but they do not cause a drastic twist in the plot. it is merely a summary of the counter-arguments of the two parties involved in the discussion in one article.
